First Animation Videos

As stated in the title, the videos are my first animations. This semester I'm taking an animation and a storyboarding class, so I'm trying out some new ways of storytelling. The video "Hollarback Girl" is a song by Gwen Stefani I remember listening to back in middle school. It's a upbeat song and I thought it would be a very fun video to animate on Adobe After Effects. The video "Ducks Eat For Free" is a skit told by Mitch Hedberg and put I the images and audio together on imovie. I have a long way to go before I can even say that I am comfortable using the programs, but I have learned a lot and I look forward to improving my skills.

Elf Ellen

This oil painting was done for my mixed media class. It was a semester-long project and we were asked to paint one of our classmate and portray his/her characteristics. I painted my classmate (who is also my friend) Yang. Yang is sometimes referred to as "Ellen" by her other friends and I decided to portrayed her as an elf and incorporate elements of steam punk, because those are some of Yang's many interests.
