Verna the Disease

   Verna is a character I created based on the Greek mythology Pandora's Box. She represents disease which is one of the several evils that was released from Pandora's box. More detailed description on Verna is stated in image to the left. Below I have some more sketches that I did before I came up with the finalized version of Verna,

KungFu Master Tiger

This is was very fun illustration I did on Adobe Illustrator which made me realize how much the program can do and also makes me want to continue to do more illustrations on it. 

Figure sculpture

    I wanted to do this post for a while now, but for some unknown reason I procrastinated. This was the sculpture I made with the recycled clay from the relief sculpture I spoke about before. This was my first full body sculpture I've have ever done. It was a little more challenging than I had expected. Since I already felt comfortable with drawing figures, I thought that building a sculpture of it should be easy. With the help from my professor I realized that an important information to know when starting a 3-D piece was to build up the mass of the object, such as the bust of the figure and everything else was about shaping and details.
