Aesop's Fables: The Fox and The Crow

This was a two part illustration where I depicted the beginning of story how the fox met the crow sitting on branch with a slice of cheese in its mouth and the climax where the fox convinced the crow to open her mouth to sing and the cheese dropped and he caught it.

Bad Owners

Acrylic on Illustration Board
This illustration was inspired by Magritte's paintings of unexpected relationships and using the idea of "memorable but believable." I chose to depict the abusive relationship of owners and pets, however in this image it is the giant squid that is the owner while the human is the pet.
