Typically I refrain from posting my figure drawings, because I'm afraid I would end up filling the whole site with class drawings; however I made an exception for this one because I felt it carried a bit more substance than my usual figure studies. Instead of the same old charcoal rendering of a figure in blank space, the addition of color really adds a emotion to piece. Although this painting is not entirely finished and requires minor tweaks here and there, I am pleasantly pleased the overall drawing and colors.
